April 2018 Meeting Highlights in Pictures

Pictured is Lisa Johnson, Executive Director of Haven House in Circleville, Ohio.  Lisa gave an interesting presentation on the history and service provided by Haven House. Goodtime Quilters presented Lisa with quilts made by members and donated to Haven House. Haven House provides shelter for victims of domestic violence as well as homeless women and children. The quilts will provide warmth and security to those seeking assistance at the facility.

April's program was presented by Ohio designer, Amy Butler. Amy discussed how she was inspired by the color and designs she saw when traveling. Amy's display of  bags made from her fabric and pattern designs is pictured above. The bags contained a special treat for members, free patterns!!
